The College Discovery Second Semester Counseling Seminar builds upon the New Student Seminar and provides a more in-depth exploration of topics introduced in the first semester. The seminar will focus on four themes that will foster students’ academic and personal development:
Life Skills – Developing better communication and relationship skills and
enhancing self-esteem
Career Planning – Exploring the relationship between your interests, abilities, and values and your career choice
Learning and Study Strategies – Practicing effective techniques to increase your learning and achieve academic success
Health and Wellness – Learning to manage stress and improve your physical and emotional well-being.
